Thailand is entering a full-fledged aging society, with the number of elderly people increasing continuously every year therefore, caring for the physical and mental health, and the quality of life of the elderly, is not just about treating illnesses it also includes creating appropriate activities for seniors to help restore and slow down the aging process in the long term one approach gaining increasing attention is the use of board games for senior rehabilitation, which can combine fun, relationship building, and therapy the Noah's Ark board game can be a valuable tool for this era.
Currently, the proportion of elderly people in Thailand is increasing significantly. As a result, many organizations and agencies are beginning to look for activities for senior citizens that not only promote physical health but also foster mental and cognitive well-being.

The Noah's Ark board game is a pilot project we developed in collaboration with Taiwan, a country with a rapidly growing elderly population similar to Thailand. The board game is used as a systematic rehabilitation tool for the elderly the activities are designed with the supervision, guidance, and close monitoring of the results by professional occupational therapists.
The Noah's Ark board game activity for seniors involves grouping individuals into smaller groups of approximately 5–6 people they begin playing the game together to foster interaction, while an occupational therapist assesses their behavior, movement, and concentration the equipment is then adjusted to suit the abilities of each individual senior.

Real-world trials have shown that elderly individuals are very interested in and enjoy the activity the Noah's Ark board game helps in rehabilitation in several areas, including:
